As the Director, Commercial Excellence US Vaccines, you are a self-starter who thrives in complexity and ambiguity and are interested in growing your strategic thinking, operational, and leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment. Partnering closely with the Head of Sales, you will lead a team of commercial excellence managers to deliver on key strategic projects in support of executing the US Vaccines Portfolio Sales Roadmap, which is critical to driving business and cultural transformation and change management efforts. In addition, with your strong collaboration, communication, and analytical thinking skills, you will successfully and proactively diagnose risks, needs and opportunities for continuous improvement. You have a track record of being reliable, trustworthy, and have a desire to work on solving problems. You have a strong execution mindset and can drive impact. You will be a key partner with the US Vaccines Leadership team and instrumental stakeholder to achieving the teams' objectives / targets.

Main Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate the execution of the US Vaccines Roadmap, measuring progress and making course adjustments to integrate performance and customer feedback
- Deliver operational and strategic support to ensure seamless execution of product and portfolio sales strategy
- Lead the change management and engagement plan for the Vaccines salesforce
- Support the Head of Sales by proactively and regularly reviewing key upcoming business updates, daily meetings, and major focus projects to determine any preparations needed, deliverables, planning or preliminary stakeholder engagement follow-ups to ensure level of readiness for each key meeting and /or business update.
- Support the Head of Sales by managing regular business reviews of regional performance, highlight business risks and opportunities and relevant action plans as well as by driving an active talent development and management in close collaboration with the P&C partner
- Determine and highlight potential risks, issues, challenges or areas for Sales Leadership to reflect and take action on
- Support the decision-making process through developing informed business cases with required stakeholders for resource needs and allocation and complete trade-off analysis
- Partner with BO&S to continuously improve insights and analytics needs and advancing our integrated omnichannel approach.
- Partner with marketing and market access leaders to understand the data and analytics across the portfolio to ensure ability to prepare for and anticipate any challenges, needs and actions to resolve to enable achievement of key business priorities
- Support the project management of special projects as determined by the needs of the key priorities within the organization
- Collaborate very closely with GTM Transformation to accelerate the evolution of the sales organization and ensure that new ways of working are embedded by the sales teams
- Ensure that the Head of Sales has strong connection and input from the organization; responsible for building connection points and gathering insights from Head Office and all key functional teams to gather insights, observations and needs
- Ensure consistent execution of sales strategies and support best practice sharing
- Lead POA and Sales Town Halls operations and execution
- Be the key finance contact for Sales (budget/forecast builds)
- Develop and manage direct reports, provide the right direction and guidance
About You
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Advanced Degree Preferred
- Minimum of 5 years commercial experience
- Experience leading or working on multi - level operations plans or key projects
- Exceptional business acumen, strategic agility, strong analytical and conceptual thinking combined with entrepreneurial qualities and abilities
- Courageous leader with an inspiring change agent mindset who is willing to challenge the status quo and align others to help drive business transformation Executive communication skills, ability to communicate to audiences of varied sizes and levels, both US and global
- Detail oriented and ability to manage key projects
- Relationship builder with strong track record of execution working with cross-functional teams comprised of: All customer facing teams, Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Trade, Medical Affairs, Legal, Business Operations, Supply Chain and Customer Support, etc.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in both marketing and a sales related function (sales strategy, field sales)
- Related experience in commercial and marketing with previous operations experience of sizeable business preferably with Pharma / vaccines /Consumer products and external stakeholder management experience required
- Solid financial acumen
- Leader in an ever-evolving environment, with demonstrated use of change management strategies/tactics to influence new ways of thinking and working
- Manages conflict with composure and demonstrates managerial courage
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree

The salary range for this position is $148,125.00 - $197,500.00 USD Annually. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
