GTMC organization will help us to drive best-in-class capabilities across the board and bring value and excellence to our commercial operations. This move is a key part of the aimed modernization of Sanofi and will allow us to focus on our priorities across our products, market and pipeline through the reallocation of resources and realizing the efficiencies of removing silos that exist between our business units, avoiding the duplication and overlapping of resources, standardizing our processes and tools, operating with a One Sanofi approach to accelerate our key capabilities development, and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit by speeding up the decision making.

As part of GTMC, the vision of the LEX/MEX pillar is the establishment a new Sanofi wide Launch excellence cross functional framework, ensuring excellence in Medico Marketing fundamentals and upskilling the Medico Marketing teams with cutting edge new technologies, capabilities and ways of working. The LEX/MEX will not only be a centre for expertise and though leaders but also an important support to execute on those best-in-class capabilities.

Key dimensions - Scope & Scale:

GTMC organization aims for:
  • Establishing Best in Class Launch capabilities to win in the B12 launches, while ensuring excellence in execution in Medico-Marketing fundamentals.
  • Centralization of Go-to-Market excellence and operational tasks across GBUs.
  • Standardizing best in class capabilities with strengthened global support while verticalization of reporting within GTMC from local to global.
  • Defining clear ways of working and bringing clarity on interfaces with GBUs, Digital, and executional support on commercial operations from Sanofi hubs to optimize process excellence and efficiency.

As a team member of LEX/MEX organization, the Commercialization Academy Learning Engagement lead will be accountable to:

Co-Design and drive a high engagement of a dynamic Academy tailored to meet talent development through engaging upskilling programs designed to elevate launch and commercialization teams with top-tier, future proof skills and drive change management to build best in class capabilities aligned with Sanofi's ambition and modernization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a best-in-class E2E launch and commercialization excellence from an insight driven marketing to a cross-functional integrated brand planning process omnichannel by design, securing continuous iteration and consistency across-brands and GBUs.
  • Identify users' requirements to ensure high engagement of the medical and marketing teams and continuously enhance the learning experience
  • Provide thought leadership regarding Modern Marketing, new commercial models, new ways of working and new learning experiences in Pharma and beyond, while seeking for continuous external benchmarking for iterative improvement.
  • Seek to enhance the learning experience trough cutting-edge technology and new learning approaches to drive engagement, while ensuring content-channels quality
  • Co-design the new blueprint and scope of the Commercialization Academy x-GBU.
  • Contribute to identify capability gaps along the life cycle of the brand teams from pre-launch to post launch and establish a competencies deployment roadmap for execution of new BIC (best in class) capabilities (such as patient experience journeys, HCP journeys informed by insights and bridging towards brand planning, BIC market development and shaping).
  • Contribute to build archetype-based immersive journeys through unified x-GBU/x-market interactive platform with mixed approach (digital and face to face) embedding new ways of learning: self-paced "digital" training combined with formal learning "bootcamps" based on cases, on-the-job coaching, gamification, ...
  • Set the training content within the curriculums to be compelling and tailored to the different learning channels based in archetypes and in the users' requirements
  • Partner with digital to develop digital platforms and seek for technology best in class partners to enhance the user experience.
  • Define and codify leading practices into fundamentals to be delivered through the academy towards best-in-class capabilities.
  • Communicate the value of continuous learning and skill development: foster a positive learning culture and encourage a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of the learning journeys implementation, collect feedback from team members and measure outcomes to ensure wide adoption and high satisfaction rates
  • Be a renowned and credible 'go-to' expert at all levels, coaching and sharing knowledge when and where required.
  • Ensure strong collaboration, co-creation and strategic alignment with Business partners from pre-launch, to launch and in-market brands, Global and local.

Ways of working
  • You will be a member of the LEX/MEX Team.
  • You will foster strategic alignment and close collaboration between cross-functional teams (R&D, LRR, M&S, Marketing, Medical, GTMC, Corporate affairs, Digital, Strategy, Hub...) and drive structured ways of working between teams to provide maximum value and efficiency to business teams.
  • You will ensure promote the setting up agile and effective teams
  • You will contribute to establish standards across GBUs, brands and countries to deliver the new LEX and Commercialization Excellence frameworks as true partner in enabling business growth.
  • You will work closely with the Launch Excellence teams and the Commercialization Excellence teams to ensure E2E business continuity.

About You

Work Experience:
  • 10+ years in cross functional leadership of Commercial Operations, marketing and/or medical expertise
  • 1 + years of global experience
  • 2+ years of Local Country experience
  • 10+ years working in cross functional teams
  • In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical industry
  • Experienced in leading by influence and drive in matrix driven project teams/organizations.
  • Agile mindset and practice: ensure the correct pace of the acceleration being outcome goal oriented.
  • Ability to leverage networks and undertake stakeholder management
  • Ability to lead change while achieving business goals & objectives, act for change - Challenge the status quo. Be persistent and resilient.
  • Preferential: previous working experience setting-up and managing learning programs: experience working in a country level

Knowledge:
  • Commercialization expertise (commercial and/or medical)
  • Strategic analysis and planning, project management, excellent English language knowledge and skills (written and oral), IT knowledge and skills, proven communication, presentation, persuasion, skills ability to work and influence cross-functionally.
