Be the strategic driver of the Franchise commercialization strategy, ensuring alignment with the Global Franchise Head, Brand Leads, Regional Heads, and key markets. Develop streamlined approaches to strategic exercises such as commercial planning, launch strategies, resource allocation, and budgeting, ensuring commercial success. As a key commercial leader, you will act as an advocate for markets and a conduit for global strategy.

This role requiresadvanced strategic thinking, a cross-functional approach to problem-solving, and the ability to influence senior leadership, making data-driven decisions that shape long-term commercial success.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategy:
  • Develop Insight-Driven Commercialization Strategies:Formulate and implement comprehensive commercialization strategies, leveraging market insights and competitive intelligence to inform data-driven, long-term decisions.
  • Market Insights & Strategic Foresight:Regularly gather and synthesize insights from local markets, usingstructured problem-solving frameworksto integrate them into global strategies that are adaptable and forward-looking.
  • Launch Preparedness & Market Readiness:Ensure cross-functional launch excellence, aligning global and local teams throughrigorous project managementand stakeholder engagement.
  • Strategic Resource Allocation:Partner with local markets to identify and allocate resources effectively, applyinganalytical frameworksto optimize resource use for growth.
  • Lifecycle Management:Advocate for local needs in lifecycle management, ensuring continued competitiveness and relevance through proactive strategy adjustments.

Execution:
  • Global Market Representation:Be the voice of key markets at global forums, advocating for resource allocation and strategic adjustments, and applyingconsulting-style approachesto resolve market-specific challenges.
  • Performance-Driven Execution:Set ambitious growth targets, applyingdata analysis and strategic problem-solvingto help markets meet and exceed goals.
  • Knowledge Sharing & Best Practices:Promote effective communication and the dissemination of global best practices across regions,applying strategic insightsto foster innovation.
  • Market Access & Pricing Strategy:Contribute tostrategically orientedmarket access and pricing decisions to ensure portfolio competitiveness across markets.

Leadership:
  • Influence & Strategic Collaboration:Lead and influence Franchise Heads and cross-functional teams to align with corporate strategies, applyinga structured, consulting-style approachto decision-making and problem resolution.
  • Talent & Leadership Development:Partner with regional leaders to structure high-performing teams, fosteringstrategic thinkingand long-term development within local franchises.
  • Strategic Brand Planning:Guide the creation of local business plans, ensuring they are aligned with global strategies and are informed by robust market analysis.
  • Proactive Problem Solving:Anticipate and resolve deviations from expected outcomes throughinnovative problem-solvingand data-driven adjustments to execution plans.

About You

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
  • Degree in business, science, or a related discipline; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in marketing, sales, or commercial roles with P&L responsibility.Strategic consultingexperience or a demonstrated ability to apply consulting frameworks is highly desirable.

  • Global and Local Expertise:Experience in both global and local roles; European experience is preferred.
  • Proven Track Record:Demonstrated success in building relationships, influencing without authority, and resolving issues using strategic thinking.
  • High Ownership:Strong accountability for market performance and achieving objectives.

The salary range for this position is $201,000.00 - $268,000.00USD Annually. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
