JOB PURPOSE:
As a Commercial Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of sales operations processes within our consumer healthcare business. This role requires strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills to support our sales team, district managers, and wholesaler operations.
You will be a key partner in enabling commercial effectiveness, ensuring accurate and timely data flow management, and facilitating seamless collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
KEY RESULTS - ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Commercial Operation Coordination:
• Assist in managing the commercial team day-to-day operations, including order updates, sales data tracking, and communication.
• Support the WS Sales Manager, commercial and sales team with real-time data for performance monitoring and decision-making.
• Ensure tools (CRM, dashboards, SAP, Prizma, WSE, sales tracking) are maintained and optimized for user needs.
2. WS Branches Data Management & Communication:
• Serve as the point of contact between wholesalers, supply chain teams, commercial and the sales force for seamless order processing.
• Monitor and follow up on pharmacy orders to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any operational challenges.
• Collaborate with ws teams to resolve SISO processes and inventory discrepancies or delays proactively.
3. Sales Data and Reporting:
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze sales data to provide insights to WS sales manager and key account managers.
• Prepare accurate sales reports, KPIs, and operational metrics on a weekly/monthly/ quarterly basis.
4. Cross-Functional Support:
• Support the cross-function teams via maintaining customer database.
• Assist WS sales manager and cross-functional teams with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and process improvements.
• Participate in projects to improve operational efficiency and optimize processes.
5. Process Improvement:
• Identify gaps in current sales operations processes and recommend improvements.
• Ensure alignment of sales operations activities with overall business goals.
6. Maintain Compliance
Abide by the requirements of the Code of Ethics including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company.
7. Ethical Leadership
• Takes personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.
• Escalates any decisions or seek the support of colleagues or management if personal knowledge and understanding is not at the level required to carry out any part of the role.
8. Environmental and Safety Leadership
To care for his/her own safety and wellbeing and the safety of others, and to co-operate with the company to ensure a safe place of work. To comply with Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) related processes and procedures, provide his/her team (if has) complying to these issues and audit them. Employees are therefore expected to:
• Support and conform to Company safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
• Report any accident, incident or near miss, whether it be of personal injury or property damage.
• Assist in the investigation of accidents with the objective of introducing measures to prevent recurrence.
• Thoroughly read all safety documentation issues by the Company and comply with its requirements. Escalate any doubts or uncertainties to their manager.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- University degree is preferable
- English language skills would be a great asse
- Past experience in a similar position
