Role and Responsibilities

This is a key position managing DA operations for one of Samsung's key strategic Digital Appliance channels focusing on improving synergies in core areas including: Order Management, Forecasting, Inventory Management, and ETA shipment reporting. This position is responsible for establishing processes and driving operational excellence and discipline within the local team. This position will be a key liaison to Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and PSI in terms of communication.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to conduct weekly meetings with customer/sales to review future forecasts based on expected level of service. The individual works closely with the Sales Teams to review sales targets and order forecasts, review week-over-week forecast changes, and acts as the point of contact between the Samsung Supply Chain Team, the Sales Team, and the Customer
  • Coordinates processes and protocol to achieve customer objectives related: Forecasting, Project Planning, Item/Data Management, Order Management
  • Lead Forecasting and support supply planning process with customer planning team to drive optimal levels of inventory to support mutual goals associated with WOS and in-stock metrics.
  • Drive actions to achieve company objectives for customer service levels and inventory planning including WOS, in-stock levels, and fill rates.
  • Has a strong sense of urgency and compassion meeting customer expectations for delivery
  • Provide clarity and integrity to the data to insure analytical excellence of reporting to allow for quick, decision making for management.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree [Business, Economics, Finance, or similar]
  • 3-5 years' work experience in relevant field
  • Excellent Analytical and Computer Skills

    • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Office Suite.
    • SAP experience helpful.
  • Excellent Communications skills (written, verbal)

    • Must be comfortable presenting to and promoting consensus-building with Management
