Role and Responsibilities
Digital Signage market mainly consists on H/W (LCD/LED Signage) and software (CMS, Contents Management System). Samsung has been market share no.1 in digital signage H/W market over a decade and trying to maximize the H/W sales capacity and inventory in the field by providing additional solution and SVC. DaaS (display as a service) is the business goal to achieve this vision which is software-centric subscription business model that is performing on Samsung's proprietary open platform(Called VX platform)

As a B2B Solution sales leader, the candidate is responsible for S/W solution sales. This role works very closely with VX(Visual Experience) team in HQ, Korea to develop sales plan and supports subsidiary's channel sales and Key account managers to increase S/W solution sales attach rate to H/W focused offering
Primary responsibilities will include helping to define key partnerships, developing strategies for how to enter new markets, creating new ways to reach existing customers and markets, bringing new products or offerings to initial customers (farming the market), and building up the right partner ecosystem.
- S/he will be responsible for planning VX Solution sales strategy and executing it to achieve the company target
- Build a Strategic Partnership with various types of partners
- Create New Business Development Plan to expand market with various initiatives for new customers and partners
- Building VX partner ecosystem by recruiting right development partners as customer and market potential
Demand creation and capture:
- Develop new sales pursuits through existing account teams/pursuits and or through direct engagements with the client
- Ensure appropriate engagement with the client's decision/stakeholder map
- Support defined strategy to execute pursuit
- Support a competitive win strategy
- Ensure appropriate engagement with client's decision/stakeholder map
Leading and supporting pursuits with VX partners:
- Develop financial/commercial business plans/cases
- Design and develop solution design for specific VX vertical services
- Monitor pursuit through risk management and identify areas of opportunity to ensure pursuit is kept on track
- Build a Resource plan with partners to deliver the pursuit and gain senior VX executive sponsorship
- Plan and deliver pursuit through building partner as well as client sponsorship
- Provide support for large/strategically important deal opportunities (e.g. formulating Sales presentations and proposals to deliver customers)
Building relationships to maximize opportunities:
- Liaise and work with partners to deliver profitable solutions with VX business plan
- Liaise with other VX functions, or agents of third parties, as appropriate to meet internal or external customer requirements
- Build trust, engage and develop channel relationships
- Have the ability to move through an organization and become a trusted advisor at various levels
- Ensure all deals are logged on VX
Engaging clients through thought leadership:
- Ability to articulate a strategy that links to client's drivers/needs and to drive effectiveness/efficiencies in their business processes
- Generate innovative ideas, challenge current thinking and achieve buy-in from the stakeholders when developing the solution design
- Support Service Development with market knowledge to continually develop the service offering.
- Ability to understand/articulate enterprise-wide document outsourcing solution
- Ability to highlight and/or create new opportunities for partners
- Support successful conclusion of the pursuit including contract negotiations with the client
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, and other Biz/Sales related majors with 12+ years of relevant experience
- B2B sales environment in the marketing industry
- A proven track record of successfully managing external partnerships and driving business opportunities & Project Management
- Proven track record in consultative selling in B2B Industry
- Experience in constructing contracts resulting from complex business development
- Experience responding to formal RFIs & RFPs for large brand businesses
- Experience developing effective tactical strategies to support sales acquisition
- Experience selling or business development as a service business (e.g SaaS)
- Ability to interact with and influence multiple sales channels
- Ability to manage and track lead generation and a sales pipeline through business development tools
- Passionate about performance success case
- Strong presenter, negotiator, and influencer
- Excellent written skills
- Organized with good attention to detail
- Able to work as part of wide and varied team

Compensation for this role for a candidate based in Colorado is expected to be between $166,000 and $182,000 a candidate in NYC is expected to be between $200,000 and $216,000 and a candidate in California is expected to be between $210,000-216,000, but may be higher or lower in other regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
