Role and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the cash management of SEA, the financing of North American subsidiaries, and the implementation of treasury processes and systems at NAHQ. The position requires strong analytical skills, financial/accounting knowledge, and ability to effectively communicate across various departments and subsidiaries.
- Liquidity Management - collaborate with subsidiaries for US cash pooling and provide support to senior members on daily cash management (assist on execution of investments and manage debt facilities)
- Forecasting cash flow for the entire region to avoid idle cash and make use of our strong balance sheet.
- FX risk management: review subsidiaries' FX hedge, recommend hedge strategy for subsidiaries, communicate with HQ.
- Support month end closing in collaboration other SEA departments and subsidiaries.
- Manage KYC documentation and other regulatory information with banks.
- Administer online bank portal for SEA and guide subsidiaries to comply with treasury policy.
- PMI (Post merger integration) in terms of treasury; analyze merged companies' banking structure, payment process, and banking relationship and recommend optimal structures for them.
- Project management ability: meet time sensitive deadlines and communicate with other corporate finance departments or subsidiaries.
- Monitor and update most recent financial market status to HQ Korea and top management.
- Assist in staff training of subsidiaries; host treasury conference or visit subsidiaries to instruct new system or updated treasury policy
- Support regional Treasurer and senior staff on adhoc financing projects to support business;
- Study best practices of treasury functions and recommend new processes or systems to improve the current practices
- Positive attitude towards operational responsibilities and desire to learn and effectively contribute
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics and/or Business.
- At least 1-5 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, accounting, and/or account management in a large-cap/mid-cap corporation
- Highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Fundamental accounting knowledge and/or experience
- Basic understanding of cash management and banking products
- Financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills
- SAP experience preferred or treasury workstation experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of data and documents.
- Effective collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and levels within the business and align internal and external stakeholders toward common objectives.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information concisely into strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication in both Korean and English (verbal and written) is required

Compensation for this role for a candidate based in New Jersey is expected to be between $83,500 and $91,500 but may be higher or lower in other regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
