The VP of Keynote Demos will drive the Salesforce vision through breakthrough, memorable demos that inspire our customers and differentiate us in the market. At Salesforce, demos play a critical role in communicating our product strategy and value proposition. The VP will partner with executives, especially the CEO, to align on corporate strategy and shape product narratives that resonate with customers and the market. The VP's team will serve as a critical bridge between product innovation and market perception, often co-creating the vision that defines Salesforce's competitive edge.

This role will report to the SVP of Company Messaging & Portfolio Marketing and lead a team of direct reports and agency resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Inspire a Multidisciplinary Team: Oversee technical product marketers, demo engineers, and UX designers to build impactful demos that showcase Salesforce's leadership in AI, data, and customer centric solutions.
  • Shape and Communicate Product Vision: Collaborate with product, marketing, and executive teams to define the product story and align corporate strategies with market needs.
  • Drive Alignment Across the Organization: Facilitate cross-functional alignment on demo concepts, ensuring they communicate a unified vision.
  • Hands-On Product Engagement: Dive into product functionality to guide demo development, ensuring high accuracy and alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Pioneer Storytelling Excellence: Elevate how Salesforce products are positioned in the market through compelling, customer-focused narratives.
  • Innovate the Demo Process: Continually refine the demo creation process, incorporating cutting-edge design principles, interactive elements, and customer insights to maximize impact.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Cultivate a high-performing team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and excellence in every stage of demo production.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in messaging, positioning, and storytelling for enterprise software or other technology products.
  • Deep understanding of technical product marketing, UX design, and engineering principles.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
  • A hands-on approach to product engagement, especially at senior levels.
  • Strong ability to align corporate strategy with market-facing narratives.
  • Track record of delivering impactful demos that drive customer engagement and market understanding.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Passion for innovation and creative problem-solving.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $251,500 to $402,400.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
