- About the Role
Salesforce is looking for a motivated analyst to join our dynamic team. This
individual will be working in a fast-paced, non-traditional environment while
building relationships within the Tax team and the larger organization (i.e.
Accounting, Finance & Strategy, Treasury and etc). The ideal candidate is one
with an eagerness to learn and develop as a tax professional, strong analytical
skills, and creative problem-solving skills (an out-of-the-box thinker).
Key Responsibilities- Support tax financial close process and SOX compliance. Calculate, prepare and reconcile intercompany entries in accordance with the Company's transfer pricing policies.
- Manage intercompany agreements process and inventory
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation to support tax return filings and local statutory financials
- Prepare management review materials and participate in review meetings
- Support review of business changes that may impact transfer pricing
- Support process improvements
Required Skills/Experience- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience. in Transfer pricing
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate technical tax issues to non-tax personnel effectively.
- Strong project management skill
- Self-starter with a "better-better-never-done" mentality, capable of working independently and prioritizing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in using spreadsheets or databases with intermediate to advanced Excel skills, and eager to learn tools like Tableau and Alteryx.
- Experience in financial systems and applications (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, Workday) preferred.
- Hardworking with strong attention to detail.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
