Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Direct Tax Analyst LATAM.
What you'll do:
Summary
The LATAM Direct Tax COE Tax Analyst will be responsible for the direct tax filings for businesses in Mexico. Additionally, this role will assist the LATAM Direct Tax COE Supervisor in integrating direct tax filing responsibilities for Spanish-speaking LATAM countries. The LATAM Direct Tax COE Tax Analyst is the primary contact with the plants, ensuring accurate and efficient compliance, continuously improving processes, and supporting operations.
Responsibilities
A) Prepare the compliance package for the fiscal year, including but not limited to income tax returns, provisional payments, ISSIF, informational returns, and other filings to comply with the Mexican government for Mexican legal entities and some Spanish-speaking entities.

B) Assist with transfer pricing documentation to ensure proper transfer pricing is maintained. C) Prepare deferred income tax calculations.
D) Support tax projects, such as changes due to tax reforms, fixed assets, and tax incentives.
E) Attend to and respond to any requests from the authority regarding Direct Taxes for Mexican and Spanish-speaking legal entities.
F) Carry out responsibilities and activities aligned with the company's values and promote collaboration within the Direct Tax team.
G) Build strong relationships across all companies.
H) Promote a continuous improvement environment.
Qualifications:
Required Education Level
Bachelor Degree: Public Accountant or comparable
English: conversational intermediate- advanced
Years and Area of Required Experience
At least 2 years of experience
Technical Knowledge
Excellent technical knowledge of Mexican Tax Laws and Regulations (desirable knowledge of LATAM Law)
Interpersonal Skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others (colleagues, supervisors, plant personnel) in a dynamic environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while meeting deadlines
Ability to assimilate information from multiple sources, identify issues, develop and implement solutions
