Role Description
The Cloud GTM Strategy and Operations team partners with Salesforce Product executives to drive go-to-market execution, strategic planning, business analysis, and growth across our ever growing product portfolio.
We are looking for a Sr. Analyst / Manager to join our Business Intelligence organization as part of the Cloud GTM Strategy & Operations team. This person will be responsible for building and maintaining business intelligence tools and infrastructure, delivering end-to-end strategic analysis and supporting strong operational cadences to achieve our quarterly objectives.
You will collaborate with many cross-functional teams such as product management, data science, pricing & packaging, finance, marketing, and others. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with strong technical and analytical skills and intrinsically motivated to help improve processes within the business.
Your Impact
- Define key performance metrics, build reports, dashboards and other scalable resources to derive insights into the health of the business.
- Lead strategic analysis and deliver insights to support and progress key business decisions.
- Partner with leadership to develop, implement and track business plans, including actionable recommendations.
- Work across the broader product portfolio and Cloud GTM Strategy team to collaborate, learn and scale.
- Build executive presentations, helping product leadership to craft the storyline and key messages
- Interact with cross-functional groups at senior levels (e.g. Sales Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Business Operations, M&A, etc.) to drive execution.
Required Skills
- 6+ years at a high-growth tech company in a strategic sales/business operations role or at a top management consulting company with strong exposure to Go-To-Market/Product Strategy assignments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly proficient in Tableau, Excel / Google Sheets
- Proficient SQL skills: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
- Ability to translate complex information into easily consumable insights.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment (sense of urgency, ability to adjust on the fly to unplanned situations).
- Passion for data, and analysis; comfortable working with large data sets
- Ability to perform complex data analyses including using SQL and build automated dashboards in Tableau and toolsets
- Comfortable taking the initiative to develop solutions for unstructured problems and communicate the results to key internal customers
