Salesforce is looking to hire a Senior Analyst of Privacy, AI, and Regulatory Compliance to join the Privacy, Product, AI, and Cybersecurity Legal team.This role will focus on helping Salesforce live up to its #1 value, Trust, by designing and implementing operating processes to protect data subjects, advising the business on the appropriate processing of personal data, and responding to regulatory inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of global data protection and data governance laws and expertise in program and project management. They should be able to collaborate across organizations to identify and solve problems, and be comfortable communicating with senior leaders.
Role responsibilities:
- Supporting the Privacy, Product, AI, and Cybersecurity legal teams by advising on methods to enhance tools and processes to drive greater scale and impact
- Monitoring the organization's compliance with relevant privacy and data governance laws
- Consulting with various teams and leaders across the business to implement proper privacy and regulatory compliance practices
- Using data to develop key metrics and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making
- Handling complex privacy-related complaints or inquiries from individuals and/or regulators
- Assessing and improving Salesforce's mechanism for facilitating the exercise of data subject rights
- Leveraging the power of AI to increase the efficiency of compliance functions
- Providing the Data Protection Officer with regular reports on emerging risks and ongoing mitigation efforts
Qualifications and Experiences:
- 4+ years experience in privacy and data protection or related experience
- Proven expertise in global data protection law, including GDPR. Additional regulatory experience in fields like AI, Cybersecurity, and/or Financial Services preferred
- Strong cross-organizational experience managing complex programs and projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and variable priorities
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and influence outcomes at all levels of the organization
- Strong understanding of the technology regulatory landscape
- A high-level of intellectual, professional and interpersonal agility and flexibility, combined with sound judgment and high tolerance for ambiguity
- Organized, results-oriented self starter
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), or equivalent professional certification preferred
This role is a hybrid position and goes into the office 3 days per week.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $101,900 to $140,200.
For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $101,900 to $140,200.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
