Role Description:
We are seeking a proven, tactical, and strategic Director for Services Sales to lead a team of account partners. The appointed Director will play a country lead role in generating revenue and achieving individual, team, and organizational services sales quotas. You will be responsible for defining and executing sales strategy and helping Account Partners generate pipeline and drive success for our customers.
Our Account Partners act as trusted advisors to our customers by providing execution excellence, demonstrating intimate knowledge of their business, and defining a roadmap towards success. Their primary goal is to help customers generate significant business value from their Salesforce investment.
As a critical member of the Go To Market (GTM) and Professional Services team, you are also responsible for building relationships with our license sales and extended functional teams (such as product, success managers, creative teams, legal, delivery and more) to understand, evaluate and strategically counsel our internal teams and customers on programs to complete their vision and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for country level services sales number
- Support direct reports by participating and leading client and prospect meetings. Engage other corporate resources as required
- Ongoing mentorship and development of services sales team which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new Account Partners on the services sales process
- Conducting weekly forecast meetings. Coach direct reports regarding strategies to drive closure
- Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
- Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team, and track the results
Required Skills & Experience:
- 18 years Extensive experience owning or leading a book-of-business, within a consultative sales role.
- Proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
- Extensive experience selling professional services related to digital transformation and/or a blended sales and project delivery background.
- Extensive experience driving a strategic motion, including value propositions, execution planning, teaming, outcomes-based engagements, working with customers through a visioning process, assessing business value outcomes, and developing plans to support the
- realization of that value through a structured program.
- Skilled in maneuvering and working with the C-Suite during a strategy cycle.
- Proven ability to present business value led pitches and effectively negotiate terms aligned with margin targets.
- Recognize the importance of timing to close deals and are able to balance driving the closing cycle while being responsive to the customer's needs and fundamentally building trust in the relationship.
- Capable of building assets from scratch, including marketing, sales, and strategy solutions.
- Experience with global procurement leads to settle pricing and deal strategy.
- Excellent presentation and listening skills
- Must be able to thrive in a very fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team
Preferred Experience:
- Experience selling and/or delivering Professional Services in a context similar to Salesforce or a Global System Integrator type environment.
- Experience growing accounts with large and complex pursuits ($M+).
- Highly collaborative and excels in a matrix organizational model (aligning with other business functions).
