As French based Director for Direct Sales you will be responsible for mentoring and developing our existing Sales team in the region. You will also be expected to grow the Cornerstone OnDemand customer base through the acquisition of new customer sales of our learning, performance and talent management software products and services in your territory.

In this role you will...
- Provide leadership for the French Direct Sales team across the region
- Drive market penetration for Cornerstone, ensure client acquisition and overall team productivity
- Efficiently recruit, mentor and retain top performers
- Drive key account acquisition
- Engage and collaborate with the Executive team, including Sales, Marketing, Services, Alliances, Finance and the Technology team
- Ensure that sales team members are able to differentiate and position Cornerstone in the market such that Cornerstone becomes known as the leading talent management provider in the region
- Exercise judgment and leverage learning on wins and losses
- Pipeline disciplines to predict results, both near and longer term
- Establish reliable forecasts for operations and finance
- Develop collegial and open communications with executive team

- Proven sales leadership and management expertise
- Strong background in HCM solution software selling experience and sales leadership and account experience, including a track record of success in large complex sales
- Strong experience in new logo acquisition
- Sophisticated, driven, self-motivated dealmaker with strategic/solutions-selling capability
