We're on the lookout for a Manager, Employee Success Strategic Initiatives - a strong communicator to join our high-impact Employee Success team - who will work closely with our HR team members.

We're seeking someone who can work as a team with short timelines to create content in line with this portfolio and help our leaders and their teams achieve new levels of success. You'll place special focus on creating internal messages & materials that break down complex topics and advance company-wide initiatives with diverse audiences globally.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Initiatives

  • Drive organizational initiatives and strategic projects to successful outcomes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and complete strategies to amplify key HR initiatives internally and externally.
  • V2MOM (strategic planning framework) creation and governance.
  • Create repositories of relevant material used to developing quarterly reviews, etc.
  • Support and manage the execution of regular and ad hoc senior executive meetings and reporting.

Executive Communication

  • Proactively identify communications opportunities and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Craft clear, consistent, and compelling messages in an executive voice that resonates with our audiences.
  • Strategize and execute communications to the full global Employee Success team from Salesforce leadership, including talking points, events, connection opportunities and more.
  • Provide actionable employee insights through formal and informal feedback mechanisms, suggesting topics that employees need to hear more about from HR leadership.
  • Prepare HR executives for meetings with customers to showcase relevant Salesforce ES stories.

Collaboration

  • Partner closely with executive and business unit communicators to share best practices and partner on shared goals.
  • Collaborate with comms teams to understand strategic priorities and create an internal comms plan to accomplish them.
  • Partner with our Public Relations team to ensure that internal and external comms strategies align and identify shared opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison across teams to ensure alignment and coordination across key stakeholders and teams.

Basic Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment as a writer, communications, or public relations professional, or at least 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience working with senior executives and collaborating effectively with diverse team members.
  • Ability to support multiple leaders across the organization by crafting individualized communication strategies that drive their business objectives.
  • Working knowledge of supporting leaders through high-production value events.
  • Ability to quickly understand and adapt to an executive' voice, seamlessly write in it, and help them articulate their thoughts and ideas effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills, including prioritization skills across many simultaneous projects
  • Collaborate and drive alignment with multiple team members from cross-functional groups
  • Understanding of content development and editorial factors
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce products, services, narratives
  • Strong ability to grasp information across various disciplines and develop clear communications with minimal guidance.
  • Outstanding communication, people abilities, and a sense of humor
  • Proficiency in using Slack as a primary comms channel, both for communications and collaboration. Experience using Marketing Cloud and other Salesforce tools, such as Quip.
  • Demonstrated experience with Google Slides design and editing.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to generate and execute breakout ideas.
  • Eagerness to try new things and stay curious.
  • Consistent high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organizational approach aimed at creating processes that help provide scale.

This role is hybrid and goes into the office 3 days per week.
