About the Role
As a Business Operations Senior Manager, your role involves driving innovation, streamlining processes, and implementing scalable mechanisms to enhance efficiency and productivity across the Heroku organization. As we continue to evolve and expand our offerings, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to drive strategy, operations, and projects to success.
Responsibilities
- Operational Strategy: Develop, implement, and oversee business operations strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance
- Pricing Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive pricing strategies to optimize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness
- Strategic Initiatives: Orchestrate and oversee complex initiatives that contribute to our continued growth and success. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of programs for strategic initiatives
- Project Management: Manage projects for GTM including pricing & packaging, consumption-based pricing, and operationalizing professional services. Drive transformational projects. Serve as the connective tissue with Salesforce key transformational projects
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, customer support, and sales, to ensure alignment and timely delivery of projects
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, dependencies, and roadblocks. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to stay on track
Required Skills
- 7+ years of strategy and operations, previous consulting/advisory experience a plus
- Experience in pricing strategy, analysis, and optimization. Expertise in financial modeling, pricing analysis, and data-driven decision-making
- Experience in successful growth implementations, from development to launch, revenue-producing programs and go-to-market strategies
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, strong attention to detail, ability to identify risks and can run several complex projects with multiple moving parts
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to evolving requirements in an agile environment
- Demonstrated history of delivering successful programs that result in measurable business value
- A significant understanding of the Salesforce platform in order to influence strategic and value discussions at a management level
- Pragmatic problem solver, with a bias to action and "getting things done". Passionate about driving business outcomes and change at the ground level
- Build and deliver presentations to management, C-Level Executives, and sales executives
- Ability to creatively solve problems with limited resources and input. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $164,000 to $225,500.
For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $136,600 to $187,900.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $164,000 to $225,500.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
