Position Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to take on a transformational leadership role at Salesforce, consistently recognized as one of the world's best places to work. As the Head of Global Field Readiness, you will hold a critical senior leadership position, shaping our company's evolution and growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner to the executive team, driving vision and execution to empower our field teams with the knowledge, skills, and capabilities necessary for success and sustained business growth.

Responsibilities:
The core purpose of the role is to provide executive leadership and drive transformative impact throughout the organization:

  • Set the vision for Global Field Readiness by building a strategy and roadmap for a world-class productivity and enablement function, including onboarding, sales training, and learning journeys, while creating a leadership alliance that exemplifies and champions the importance of these initiatives across the organization.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to boost productivity, cultivate a culture of continuous learning, and ensure employees have the resources and support to excel in their roles.
  • Transform and lead how we predict, gather, develop, and respond to business requirements across different industries, segments, and geographies to embed the most impactful strategy for productivity and enablement.
  • Address immediate training needs while transforming systemic patterns to embed a culture of learning, adapting strategies in productivity, enablement, and re-skilling to meet the evolving nature of work.
  • Partner with BT, Product, and Global Strategy & Ops teams to deliver AI-driven learning experiences that upskill our workforce and make them Agentforce-ready, leveraging expertise in AI-driven adaptive learning, VR/AR, and implementing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning strategies.
  • Lead the readiness and enablement strategy for the company, drive results, accelerate the productivity of our sales teams, reduce time-to-productivity for new hires, simplify learning paths, and proactively partner with our product, marketing and sales organizations to build in learning from the start.
  • In partnership with ES, deliver world-class enablement programs by designing, developing, and implementing engaging, interactive training that cultivates strong skills and knowledge across our workforce.
  • Lead the global certification of sales knowledge for all sales and distribution teams, ensuring consistent expertise and standards organization-wide.

Experience and Expertise:
The Head of Global Field Readiness will possess the following qualifications and capabilities:

  • 15+ years of experience in sales and business leadership, with a strong focus and background in organizational learning, enablement and development strongly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in building and scaling a successful sales org and/or enablement function, including establishing the organizational structure and support model for both U.S. and international teams.
  • Effectively designed and maintained a comprehensive portfolio of productivity and enablement programs that elevate performance and enhance business acumen, including onboarding, sales training, and business and leadership development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in inspiring and leading a global team, achieving results under tight deadlines.
  • Established strong, collaborative relationships with peers and partners, effectively engaging with sales, technology, and leadership teams across the organization, including leaders with diverse needs and expectations.
  • Exceptional operational and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach and a strong vision and passion for learning and technology.
  • Demonstrated success in thriving within dynamic, fast-paced, and highly matrixed organizations.
  • Industry-savvy and well-informed, with the ability to integrate the latest insights on sales, organizational behavior, technology, and learning into the daily practices of our workforce.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $370,000 to $432,000.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $370,000 to $432,000.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
