Salesforce Strategic Experiences produces the world's best technology events. Dreamforce is the largest software conference on the planet, and is regarded as an industry standard. We also produce events across the US and globally to engage our enthusiastic customers and prospects. Salesforce is seeking a talented demand generation manager to join our team.

We are seeking someone who has solid collaboration and communication skills, a strong passion for audience acquisition, and proven experience driving effective demand generation strategies with measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Create and scale demand generation, attendee communications, and digital strategy plans for in person and digital events of different sizes and various audiences.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership to develop and drive results-oriented audience acquisition campaigns to hit registration and pipeline goals.
  • Provide proposals outlining future audience communications program needs, including audience strategy, numbers forecast, digital strategy optimization.
  • Partner with marketing operations to create campaigns, reports, and dashboards to optimize audience reporting for every event.
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (Salesforce Sales Cloud & Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to generate segmented messaging via email, SMS, social, and mobile push notifications.
  • Own analysis of marketing campaign performance, as well as a reporting framework for weekly, monthly and quarterly results and goal attainment.
  • Identify and execute tests and opportunities for optimization across all owned functions.
  • Communicate with the senior leadership team regarding program execution, results, and impact.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with 10+ teams to deliver results on target and on time.
  • Drive deployment of events websites focused on registration and audience prep.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree, Marketing or Business.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on audience acquisition and demand generation.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and use collaboration tools.
  • Must be data driven and results oriented with a strong base knowledge of audience acquisition for Cloud / SaaS companies.
  • Familiarity with Excel data models for event audience related projections.
  • Very high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity working with the Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a must.
  • Cross functional team player with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Must quickly grasp company messaging and branding.
  • Very strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Able to work on complex tasks independently while collaborating with others.
  • Experience managing communications for B2B cloud technology events.
  • Flexible attitude and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to effectively prioritize work and balance stakeholders.
  • Experience deploying marketing websites and advanced knowledge of web analytics metrics that impact business goals.
  • Recent experience deploying and promoting virtual events with clear KPIs.
  • Curious, self-starter, learner with a growth mindset

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,800 to $190,900.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $127,200 to $174,900.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $138,800 to $190,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
