Heroku, the leader in cloud application platforms, is looking for a Senior Marketing Lead to expand our presence and business across EMEA. Reporting to the CMO, this first hire in EMEA marketing will work closely with the new Heroku sales team to roll out campaigns, programs, and events to the EMEA region that creates interest, sales pipeline, and ultimately, new customers.
We are looking for self-starters with an entrepreneurial spirit. You will have direct responsibility for shaping Heroku's presence in EMEA.. You will drive a wide variety of initiatives to increase awareness, attract and retain customers, and build lasting customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the customer, learning, and creativity.
Responsibilities:
- Work with EMEA sales team and partners to develop marketing plan to increase awareness and create pipeline aligned to EMEA business targets
- Work with Heroku product marketing and campaigns teams to leverage the right mix of marketing campaigns, sales programs, and content for the region.
- Work with Salesforce EMEA marketing to participate in Salesforce programs, campaigns, and events with attach and cross-sell plays.
- Build relationships with Heroku customers in EMEA for case studies, advocacy, and to include in regional activities
- Contribute to the EMEA events strategy, focusing on key events across EMEA that deliver strong ROI
- Oversee campaign reporting to inspect campaign success, identify areas for optimization, and share findings with HQ teams
- Proactively oversee project from problem identification and conception to completion
- Manage relationships and execution with local agencies
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree, Significant years of relevant B2B marketing experience, ideally in application platform, dev tools, or cloud market segments.
- Strategic thinker / planner and hands on executor with a proven track record of success.
- Data driven, sales aligned marketing approach
- Well rounded experience in omni-channel campaigns, account based marketing, field marketing, and conferences.
- Strong project management experience and detail oriented.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Establishes relationships and works collaboratively across diverse teams
