As a Senior Capacity Planning Analyst for our global professional services business, you will play a critical role in ensuring optimal workforce capacity and resource planning across the region. You will engage with key collaborators, including business operations managers, delivery leaders, resource managers, and capacity leadership, to communicate capacity forecasting insights and collaborate on workforce planning and demand projections. Additionally, you will support global process improvements and operationalization of capacity planning strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive capacity forecasting to support strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
- Analyze workforce supply and demand trends to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
- Support the senior manager of capacity planning in consolidating the capacity planning and hiring approval processes to improve collaborator service.
- Collaborate with staffing teams, business leadership, and workforce planning teams to complete the global workforce strategy.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding future hiring needs, workforce balancing, and operational efficiencies.
- Partner with business operations managers, delivery leaders, and resource managers to align resource availability with business needs.
- Communicate capacity planning insights to leadership teams and facilitate discussions to address workforce gaps.
- Work with regional teams to ensure alignment on forecasting methodologies and planning assumptions.
- Act as a key liaison between capacity planning, workforce management, and business leaders to drive alignment and visibility.
- Lead initiatives to implement process changes that improve workforce planning and capacity management.
- Develop and refine analytical models to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Drive operational excellence through standardization of processes and tools across geographies.
- Ensure effective governance and execution of hiring and resourcing processes within the region.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track key capacity and workforce metrics.
- Provide reporting on open staffing requests, utilization trends, and capacity forecasts.
- Deliver insights on workforce planning challenges and recommendations to mitigate risks.
- Support executive-level reporting with analysis on consultant supply, demand, and hiring trends.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience in capacity planning, workforce strategy, or resource management within a professional services environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Project management experience, with the ability to lead process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to collaborate across teams and leadership levels.
- Ability to lead multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with workforce planning tools, data visualization platforms, and reporting tools.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Advanced Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using Tableau or other data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or Certinia for resource planning.
- Knowledge of global workforce planning standard methodologies.

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $101,900 to $140,200.
