We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven AR Collections Team Lead to oversee our collections team in a dynamic, high-performance environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to navigate complex financial scenarios. Proficiency in English is required, and fluency in additional languages such as German, Spanish, French, or Italian is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 4 to 5 Collections Analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collections Management: Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding receivables and improve cash flow.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, and Finance, to resolve payment issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine collection processes to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Customer Relations: Address escalated customer inquiries and disputes professionally, aiming to maintain positive relationships and retain clients.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, collection activities, and team performance for senior management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in accounts receivable or credit control, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; additional fluency in German, Spanish, French, or Italian is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems and familiarity with Salesforce CRM is advantageous.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of negotiating and resolving conflicts effectively.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment, understanding the nuances of conducting business across Europe.
- Problem-Solving: Proven track record of identifying issues proactively and implementing solutions to mitigate risks.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and adept at managing multiple priorities.
