POSITION OBJECTIVE
Join our dynamic team as a Garage Parking Attendant, reporting directly to the Director of Loss Prevention. As the guardian of our garage, you'll be in charge of ensuring smooth operations, impeccable cleanliness, and top notch maintenance for our parking facilities. Dazzle our guests with exceptional service by expertly parking and retrieving their vehicles in the garage. Collaborate with our engineering and security teams for daily equipment inspections, making safety and loss prevention your top priorities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Parking garage detail
- Operates parking machinery and equipment as needed
- Must comply with all regulations such as OSHA
- Maintain and clean garage equipment
- Report any needed repairs immediately to Engineering
- Check entire garage for any hazards that may affect other operators or vehicles
- Ability to coordinate and work with team to ensure smooth operation of the garage and front drive
- In an emergency or special circumstance, a Garage Parking Attendant may retrieve and deliver guest vehicle from the garage to the front drive
- Other tasks as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum High School Diploma preferred
- Previous parking garage and hotel/resort experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
- Past luxury hotel/resort experience preferred
- Previous Guest Services experience preferred
- Valid South Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Varied work schedules, ability to work as it pertains to the needs of hotel guests
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to stand for long periods on your feet, offer quick retrieval of guests and patron's vehicles. Must be able to enter and exit guests' vehicles in an efficient and timely manner. Possess the ability to remain calm in a stressful, hurried environment. Work in both indoor and outdoor environments with a wide variety of seasonal temperatures. Ability to drive a variety of automobile types and understand specific car features
