About the role

  • Ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of financial risks at project and group level.
  • Creation, automation and optimisation of reporting of financial risks as well as the preparation of reports for different management levels tailored to the respective target group.
  • Creation of financial result planning as well as explanation of the financial result to senior management and the supervisory board.
  • Risk database management and maintenance.
  • Development and collaboration in the Middle Office of Financial Asset Management; in particular performance measurement, determination of the coverage ratio and reporting.
  • Stakeholder management in the sense of an interface function between the departments Group Risk, Accounting and Corporate Finance, identification of target and interest conflicts as well as taking appropriate measures to optimise communication, process and reporting procedures.
  • Clarification of ad hoc requests regarding financial risks for senior management.
  • Monitoring and reporting of risk positions/key figures and financial derivatives.

Job requirements and experience

  • University degree in economics, sciences, banking or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in the finance sector.
  • Experience in the valuation of financial derivatives and the modeling of valuation rating curves based on market data.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and their impact on liquidity, P&L and balance sheet.
  • Affinity and enjoyment of working with databases and confident handling of market data systems (e.g. Thomson Reuters or Bloomberg) and treasury software.
  • Strong communication skills, confident attitude, commitment, flexibility and a results-oriented work ethic.
  • Hands-on and change mentality.
  • Fluent in German and English.

Advantageous, but not essential

  • Ideally programming experience.
