The selected candidate will be joining the Consumer Experience and Operations (CXO) Advanced Visualization & Proposal Services (AVPS) team as a junior content creator and real-time developer on the agile Development Team. The team is responsible for supporting Advanced Visualization value streams across the entire product lifecycle, from capture to sustainment. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive applications; creating real-time optimized models from engineering CAD; and interacting with customers to demonstrate and present applications. Content will be deployed across a wide variety of platforms ranging from large scale visualization screens to VR, AR, web, and mobile devices. This position is onsite. The successful candidate will be required to report daily to the Immersive Design Center facility in Tucson, AZ. Position is relocation eligible for applicants who meet our eligibility requirements to receive relocation support.
What You Will Do
- Exercise the entire real-time game development pipeline to develop immersive and interactive applications using the Unity gaming engine.
- Apply creative freedom while creating polished content that captures customer's stated vision.
- Collaborate with development team to coordinate work activities, report status, and plan project backlogs.
- Work with scrum master to define and estimate work.
- Support live events and demonstrations, both local and remote. To include engaging internal and external customers.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Role typically requires bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree. In lieu of degree, 6 years of relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience creating real-time applications with Unity.
- Experience in hard-surface mesh modeling for real-time experiences using industry standard tools such as Maya and/or Substance Painter.
- Enjoys high-paced teams with sometimes multiple demands.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Unity's suite of tools such as Unity Version Control, Unity Build Manager, and PiXYZ Studio.
- Experience with one or more object-oriented programming languages to include C++ / C#
- Experience with asset-based pipelines, preferably Universal Scene Description
- Experience with managing hardware and running content on large scale video walls
- Experience with Agile processes and Jira tools.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
