Role Summary
Raytheon is hiring a Logistics professional to oversee and manage the logistics execution and contract oversight over Raytheon's strategic Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers. Selected candidate will be responsible for Raytheon's West Region engagements, including activities in Carrolton, Texas and Santa Fe Springs, California, with additional expansion opportunities throughout the West Region. Additionally, this individual will work collaboratively with his/her East Region counterpart to assist in the support of 3PL engagements in Atlanta, Georgia and Manchester, New Hampshire.

The selected candidate will lead a small team of Raytheon logistics professionals who will be responsible for collaborating with the 3PL to ensure Logistics performance is in alignment with Raytheon Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), including, but not limited to, Dock to Stock and Kitting processes. This oversight will be performed through daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews of 3PL performance. The candidate will assist in identifying, developing, and initiating cost savings activities with our 3PL through waste reduction and lean concepts. Additionally, the candidate will help to monitor 3PL compliance to contract requirements and ensure output quality is in alignment with expectations. Lastly, the candidate's team will serve as the primary liaison between our 3PL and Raytheon factory.
The selected candidate will assist in the strategy and business case development for new engagements. Additionally, the candidate will support 3PL contract activity, including Statement of Work Development (SOW) development, Purchase Order creation, funding alignment and oversight, and Bonus/Manus administration.
During new engagements, the candidate and his/her team may be responsible for assisting in hyper care support, ensuring 3PL staffing levels are adequate, identifying layouts and transition plans, and providing tactical and strategic input to properly onboard the 3PL.
What You Will Do:
- Overseeing 3PL execution and driving process improvement opportunities through lean manufacturing concepts and principles
- Serving as key liaison between 3PL and Raytheon factory
- Overseeing the 3PL cycle, from vision to steady state execution, including the process steps of Strategic Vision, Business Case Development, SOW creation, Request for Proposal (RFP) Purchase Order creation, physical transition, hypercare support, and steady state oversight.
- Lead highly complex 3PL transition projects with high dollar spend
- Oversee 3PL compliance to contract
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or other relevant function
- Must be a U.S. Citizen as the position will require the ability to access U.S. only Data Systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance within one year of employment.
- People management/leadership skills and experience engaging large, complicated teams
- Knowledge or experience working within a factory or warehouse
- 5 years' experience operating in a 3PL environment or collaborating with a 3PL
- Experience with financial budgets

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
