We're seeking an experienced Employee Relations Accommodations Specialist to support our team on a contract basis. This role will focus on independently managing the reasonable accommodation process in close collaboration with partners in Employee Relations, Legal, HRBPs, managers, and employees. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience with accommodations, and a working knowledge of Employee Relations (performance management, investigations, and general HR escalations), as well as knowledge of employment laws in the US, experience in (or curiosity and eagerness to learn) about laws in the UK and Australia, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end process on reasonable accommodations, complex leave scenarios, and related matters;
- Build and manage end-to-end reasonable adjustment process for UK and Australia;
- Work collaboratively with employee relations and legal partners, HRBPs, and people managers to intake, document, and process workplace accommodations, and manage the interaction of accommodations with other HR and ER related matters;
- Contribute to development of robust reasonable accommodations and reasonable adjustments framework, including development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, processes, and forms/documents;
- Interpret and apply understanding of corporate policies and practices, employment law, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or clarification; and
- Assist in designing processes and implementing strategic projects to assist the ER team guide ER best practices, and help identify strategies to enhance employee relations capabilities.
This is a 6-month contract payrolled through a third-party agency.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of corporate employee relations, HR compliance, and/or employment legal experience, with bonus points for employee relations experience.
- Expertise in reasonable accommodations and leaves of absence in the United States, with bonus points for experience in the United Kingdom and/or Australia.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills, and the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and easily understood processes with empathy and consistency.
- Experience with developing, maintaining, and interpreting accommodations-related data and statistics, and using data to look for trends and inform process and strategy.
- Prior experience in designing/implementing HR compliance and employee relations processes, policies, and systems that work at scale.
- Proven ability to establish influential partnerships working with peers, senior leaders, and across organizational lines to provide effective and strategic employee relations counsel.
- Effectively and independently manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, prioritize conflicting demands, and execute initiatives with a bias towards actions and solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of employment laws in the US (i.e. ADA, FMLA, etc.), and experience in (or curiosity and eagerness to learn) about laws in the UK and Australia.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (hourly)
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $44- $61.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
