The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team:
The Talent Management, Learning and Development Operational Excellence Project Manager will drive TMLD standardization, operational effectiveness, and project management standards as a member of the TMLD leadership team.
This position will directly support the management of key projects and operations across the Raytheon Talent COE. The ideal candidate will possess exceptionally strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, be extremely organized and detail-oriented, able to effectively work across several teams, projects, and stakeholders, and be pro-active with a bias for action. This role includes senior-level facilitation, strategic communications, internal customer listening, and external research / benchmarking.
This position reports to the Sr. Director of Talent Management, Learning and Development.
What You Will Do
- Drive the execution of the TMLD Strategy in partnership with the Sr. Director, TMLD Leaders, and key stakeholders across HR, ensuring alignment across Annual Operating Plans, Long Range Plans, and HR Strategy; consistently measure progress to plans and recommend solutions to improve performance
- Oversee & project manage all TMLD improvement targets & other key projects with the focus on key milestones, dependencies, risks and mitigation plans to ensure successful execution to the plan
- Lead select initiatives and projects from end-to-end: establishing the project team; setting project milestones; collaborating effectively and successfully managing deliverables
- Develop and manage operational excellence standards, processes and implement solutions to advance the efficiency and effectiveness of the TMLD COE
- Utilize the CORE OS to ensure continuous improvement of programs, practices, processes, and tools across the Talent COE, including internal experiences and external benchmarking to keep up with best practices in the industry
- Monitor TMLD metrics and data to provide analytical and actionable insights for senior and executive leaders.
- Assembles information, identifies key stakeholders in the Company, designs strategic models, develops and presents proposals and projects to stakeholder audiences.
- Develop and maintain process measurement evaluation criteria to measure initiative efficacy
- Operate as Thought Partner on key talent initiatives and strategies to support delivery, execution, and outcomes of critical initiatives including the development and delivery of final executive level content
- Links strategies and initiatives to ensure they reinforce the RTX Culture
- Ensure alignment across the HR/Talent COE on the execution of strategic initiatives throughout the year
- Serve as a thought partner with Talent leaders by staying up to date on external human resources and best practices
- Deliver data-driven insights to build business cases that help orchestrate and develop strategic change initiatives across the business
- Provide visibility across the TMLD COE of current and future priorities, projects/initiatives and progress
- Effectively partners with RTX Talent COE to align their priorities and actions
- Travel up to 30%.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 15 years of relevant experience.
- Experience applying change management models and leading varying level of transformation/change involving multiple stakeholder groups at an enterprise level.
- Demonstrates project management skill sets with a continuous improvement and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated experience applying change management models and leading varying level of transformation/change involving multiple stakeholder groups at an enterprise level.
- Project or Program Management Certification.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making and quantitative skills, including strong organizational and financial understanding.
- Broad understanding of HR best practices, principles and functions with demonstrated capability in designing solutions, aligning leadership, and managing implementation of best practices.
- Demonstrated experience generating professional, impactful and persuasive presentations that effectively communicate to multiple audiences, including senior and executive leaders.
- Deep project or program management, organization, and the ability to deliver timely, quality projects, including overseeing multiple projects at the same time.
- Persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to tailor communications to a broad range of audiences and prepare executive-ready materials.
- Proven success in managing strategic projects and initiatives, demonstrating cross-functional leadership and strong change management to achieve measurable results.
- Ability to build trust-based relationships and effectively collaborate across several businesses and HR departments.
- Comfort with ambiguity as well as strong judgment and ability to make well-informed decisions.
- Ability to use data and metrics to analyze and solve human capital challenges.
- Experience working directly with senior executive leaders, preferably as a coach, advisor, and facilitator.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).

- This position can be worked remotely from anywhere within the U.S (excluding U.S territories).

Minimum Program Qualifications

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
