Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university and Seven 7 years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Five 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Technologies/skills: Understanding of agile processes, Java, confluence, Jira, SE models, AWS, requirements, architecture designs, clear and concise communications, collaborative working style with internal and external stakeholders.

Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders. Able to communicate and translate technical work to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
