The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Team:

RTX Enterprise Services Real Estate Solutions is seeking a passionate and driven Data Science Intern to join our business operations team. This internship will focus on leveraging Microsoft Forms, Planner and Lists to support data management, analysis, and reporting across various projects. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of data science principles, a keen interest in learning, and experience with Microsoft Forms, Planner and Lists. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading aerospace and defense company.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in organizing, managing, and analyzing data using Microsoft Planner and Lists.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and assist in developing data-driven solutions.
  • Create and update data dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Perform data cleaning, validation, and verification tasks to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Provide support and training to team members on the effective use of Microsoft Planner and Lists for data management and analysis.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Candidates must not graduate prior August 2025. Please submit a copy of your academic transcripts with your application.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • 1+ years of experience working with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship or project experience in data science or analytics.
  • Familiarity with additional Microsoft 365 tools and their integration with Microsoft Planner and Lists.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Location: This position is remote.
Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role:
Remote: This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
