Jabil's Summer Internship Program is set to launch in summer 2025. As an intern, you'll have the unique opportunity to engage with Jabil's leadership team and participate in a variety of experiences focused on professional development, networking, and community engagement.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Scope 3 and Circularity Intern will be a part of the Scope 3 and Circular Economy Team at Jabil inside of corporate Sustainability. They will support areas such as Product Carbon Footprint (PCF), Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Jabil's scope 3 GHG inventory. They will support various sustainability projects spanning many industries across the globe. The Intern should have interest in Jabil's supply chain Social Environmental Responsibility (SER) efforts.

INTERN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in Scope 3 accounting, circular economy and life cycle management, sustainable product design e-waste and end-of-life product recycling.

Technical Requirements:

• Support programs that promote GHG emissions reduction, reuse, repair, and recycling

• Thorough mastery of Excel and PowerPoint to perform analytical reports on emissions calculations and ability to present findings to stakeholders

• Help with ensuring all project requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution

• Help devise creative solutions within the team

• Assist in the implementation of project plans with focus on achievement of project goals

Specific Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) or metrics:

• Assist in driving project/program tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedule

• Provide leaders with updates, including greatest opportunities for improvement

• Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department and with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are standardized

• Drive relevant, concise and effective communication through a variety of mediums

• This is a global role, requiring multiple time zone collaboration. There may be occasional meetings outside of locational hours

• Compliance with the company Environmental, Health & Safety and security policies and procedures

• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding Design standards, procedures, systems and work methodologies

• Understanding of product end-of-life circular economy management

• Knowledge of the international Greenhouse Gas Protocols specific to Scope 3.

• Understanding of Carbon Impact Assessments and LCAs

• Understanding of Jabil's global sustainability strategies and direction

• Effective Communication

• Self-starter - Ability to drive work

• Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience

• Proficient Verbal and Written English Skill

Education and Experience

• Major(s): Sustainability, Environmental Science, Natural Sciences

• Class Year(s): Rising Junior, Rising Senior

• GPA: Min 3.0

• Availability: Must be available to work Remote or in St. Petersburg Florida from May 19, 2025 - Aug 8, 2025

• Technical Skills: Understanding of Microsoft Applications, Power Bi, LCA software

• Experience in Scope 3 management and reporting is strongly beneficial

The pay range for this role is $33,280 - $66,560. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: March 05, 2025.
