Raytheon's System Integration & Test is seeking a Sr Principal Systems Engineer who will support Radar technology that includes integrating simulation signal injection hardware/software setups to support test activities, performing data analysis, and reporting at our Huntsville, AL location and CONUS site testing. This includes supporting flight and ground test signal injection integration activities that involve modeling, simulation, data analysis, systems integration, and systems verification. As well, participates in task planning, readiness reviews and occasional presentations to the customer. Utilizes a broad knowledge of instances in systems integration, verification, and test and applies understanding of principles of hardware, software, and network technology to ensure test validity and integrity.

What You Will Do
- Participate in Radar systems signal injection integration, verification, and validation activities.
- Support sell-off of advanced radar capabilities, including signal injection String hardware/software setups, for use in test activities at CONUS locations, including verifying technical methods and providing verification and validation data analysis.
- Integrate software and hardware setups with networks, convey technical issues and provide status briefings to managers and key program stakeholders (including participating peer, gate, and test readiness reviews), and generate reports and presentations to internal or external stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Cross Product and Integrated Product Teams, Chief Engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and internal/external customers on upgrading existing/implementing new system capabilities, and ensure signal injection systems are properly installed, correctly configured, and readily available for use with test events.
- Installing, configuring, and analyzing Radar signal injection inputs and outputs consisting of networked electronic hardware setups installed with existing or new software builds in a HWIL/SIL test facility.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience.
- Experience MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming language.
- Experience with Systems Integration, test, and/or Verification.
- Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems, and Shell scripting for performing analysis, installing/debugging software, integrating and configuring electronics, COTS servers, and networking/troubleshooting electronic system connections.
- Knowledge of installing and configuring electronic hardware, software installations on hardware devices, network configurations, and operations of software in HWIL/SIL facility.
- General understanding of Data Distribution Service (DDS), Quality of Service (QoS) and other basic networking principles.
- Certifications in CompTIA Network+ and or CompTIA Security+
- Experience with creating plans/procedures, schedules, test scripts, and/or conducting performance analysis for verifying and validating radar performance, and working with customers to execute program test activities.
- Strong technical writing, presentation, customer interaction skills, and willingness to perform tasks with various site facility leads, while communicating with remote stakeholders, or at a stakeholder site.
- Experience with developing radar analysis tools, hands-on root cause identification, corrective action implementation, analysis or test on radar systems, signal processing, and electro-optical systems or components and verification.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
