The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:
What You Will Do
- Provide support to Payroll Operations Vendor to ensure timely and accurate execution of payroll processing on a weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly basis.
- Review and ensure payroll activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Work closely with payroll vendor in ensuring all desktop procedures are updated and approved.
- Coordinate test payrolls with ADP, participate in testing, reviewing the outcome and troubleshooting issues.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
- Coordinate with HR teams to accurately onboard new employees into the payroll system and update employee information as needed.
- Review payroll data for accuracy, including salary adjustments, bonuses, special calcs and deductions.
- Support various payroll initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, process improvements, key projects, and audits.
- Partner with RTX Governance and other departments to research and resolve complex pay issues, proactively recommend and implement mitigation efforts to prevent recurrence.
- Generate reports to provide weekly payroll counts.
- Support the ongoing alignment of RTX payroll practices and governance standards.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience preferably gained in a large corporation or outsourced/BPO environment.
- This role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance and 2 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree 6 years relevant work experience and/or schooling/certifications
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
- At least 1 year experience with ADP, Workday or other enterprise payroll systems.
- Strong analytical skills/systems analysis capabilities with knowledge of high tech pay modeling tools and databases.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge of tax withholding, voluntary deductions and payroll processing
- Strong experience in an active, advanced customer service environment; preferably in payroll, customer care, and/or benefits related industry.
- Prior experience with or knowledge of process improvement methodologies
- Must be able to demonstrate expertise in problem solving, analysis, and issue resolution.
- Strong professional and interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills using Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Self-starter with strong organization skills and high attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced highly collaborative cross functional team environment.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
