We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Principal Specialist, GTF Aftermarket Finance!
What You Will Do:
P&W Commercial GTF Aftermarket Finance is looking for a Specialist to oversee and engage in a wide range of contract management and financial planning and analysis activities, including: contract estimate at completion (EAC) and variance analysis, financial planning and forecasting, customer proposals and analysis, and controls and compliance.
The Specialist will report directly to the Associate Director of GTF Aftermarket Finance and will provide critical financial support to the Director, GTF AM and to the Executive Director, GTF AM.
You will work closely with the fleet manager for each of their respective contracts and work effectively within a cross functional team from Engineering, Customer Management, Sales, and Operations Analytics. With a P&L of over $2B in annual revenue and over $75B of backlog, GTF AM is setting the strategy for the future of Commercial Engines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and analyze contract estimates at completion (EACs) for multiple fleet management contracts in the GTF engine portfolios.
- Prepare and present all financial analysis related to the contract EACs to P&W Executive leadership and external auditors.
- Prepare and present all financial analysis related to specific customer proposals and contract restructuring activities.
- Coordinate all monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities including the consolidation and submission of actual financial results for multiple fleet management contracts.
- Coordinate all MML and OMM planning activities for P&W Engine Services including the consolidation, submission, and presentation of all short and long term forecasts for multiple fleet management contracts.
- Coordinate the annual rate recalculation for multiple fleet management contracts and provide necessary support for our invoicing vendor.
- Provide overall financial oversight for multiple fleet management contracts as well as ongoing support for the contract's fleet manager.
- Leverage CORE tools for continuous process improvement plans.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an advanced degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Candidate must be a US Person (Green Card Holder or US Citizen) due to government contracts.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Candidate must have strong financial and analytical skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively through all levels of the organization.
- Must have a familiarity with multiple financial systems such as SAP.
- Candidate must be a self-motivated team player and possess the ability to work effectively and efficient with little direction while handling multiple high priority projects at any given time.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
