The EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and programs that ensure a safe and compliant work environment. This role oversees the conducting risk assessments, setting safety standards, and leading initiatives to reduce workplace hazards and environmental impact. The EH&S Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety, provides training on regulatory compliance, and drives continuous improvement efforts in health, safety, and environmental practices. The position must stay updated on relevant legislation, manage audits, and ensure that all practices align with local, state, and federal regulations.

What You Will Do:
- Own the execution of long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) and the operational direction, typically for a business of modest size and scope. or, Manages a team of primarily experienced professionals.
- Focus on tactical and operational plans with short- to medium-term focus (e.g., less than 1 year to 1 - 2 years).
- Problems faced may be difficult to moderately complex.
- Influence others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.
- Implement initiatives that drive continuous improvements and achieve and maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the portfolio for environmental opportunities to determine environmental compliance.
- Collaborate with sites to define controls for EH&S program to maintain the policies.
- Assess EH&S impacts and develops/implements programs to reduce risk as well as achieve and maintain compliance.
- Manage environmental permits and reporting criteria.
- Establish and tracks plans to achieve and maintain compliance and to reduce risk.
- Lead audits of the implementation of the EH&S management system at factories and service locations.
- Lead the communication of global EH&S initiatives and comprehensive performance to EH&S professionals and upper-level management.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
