Raytheon Software Engineering is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Air C2 and Sensors software department in Fullerton, California.
What you will do:
The Air C2 SW product teams develop Command and Control mission critical applications and leverage DevSecOps processes along with best industry practices to meet the threats of today and tomorrow.
- Perform as a key contributor working as part of a high performing Software Product Team.
- Participate in software C2 software application design, implementation, test and maintenance.
- Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance as and when required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant software development experience.
- Experience in JavaScript / TypeScript, with experience in building dynamic and responsive frontend UI applications.
- Experience with modern web UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React, and a solid understanding component-based architecture.
- Experience with reactive programming paradigms and frameworks (e.g., Rxjs) for building scalable, event-driven applications.
- Experience in Java with hands-on experience using popular frameworks and design patterns (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, or similar).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in software engineering in the Command & Control mission planning domain.
- Proficiency with databases, including database design, transaction management.
- Familiarity with asynchronous communication patterns, particularly using WebSockets or similar technologies for real-time applications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively within large, cross-functional teams.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
