Role Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director of Logistics, this role is responsible for international logistics management and program oversight for Land Warfare and Naval Power programs. In this position the International Logistics Manager will oversee the importation and exportation of material and major end items (MEI) in support of country specific programs. This position will manage direct reports who are responsible for PRISM(SAP) sales and shipping transactions, country specific documentation, milestone tracking/reporting, and program budgets.

This position also has responsibilities to review new program award and determining the logistics requirement based off the award. The International logistics manager will work with key stakeholders (program office, Global Trade, deployment field services, IPT's, etc....) to determine the service requirements, schedule, and program deliverables. After the logistics plan and budget has been approved, the International Logistics Manager's team is responsible for executing to the logistics plan.
What You Will Do:
- Logistics planning for new programs, including: Developing transportation/headcount budget, creation of classified transportation plan, Risk and Opportunities development/mitigation, carrier strategy, and license compliance verification.
- Developing operating procedures by customer to manage global logistics operations to that country.
- Facilitating meetings with the Program Management Office, Product teams, and Logistics to review schedule and budget.
- Management of operations team who are responsible for program shipment planning and interfacing with third party logistics providers and brokers.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives.
- Oversee program logistics budgets and metrics by reviewing EAC, providing leadership and direction by working with IPT and R&O manager to update risks.
- Partnering with 3PL providers and Freight Forwarders
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years experience within Logistics, Program Management, and Sustainment arena, in particular Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Experience collaborating across multiple business functions within a matrix environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System
- Experience with FAR, DFAR, ITAR and PRISM(SAP/ERP system)
- Experience leading teams, coaching, motivating, and empower others, and developing talent
- Experience in developing and executing to the logistics plan.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- MBA Preferred
- Program Management Experience
- Understand of import/export classification, licensing and clearance process
- Hazmat transportation requirements
- Defense security service transportation requirements
- Formal training within Logistics
- Trained in Six Sigma Methodology

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
