The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
The RTX Corporate Records & Information Manager and Digital Lead is responsible for the management and oversight of the Corporate Office's records, both physical and electronic, in accordance with legal, regulatory and industry standards. The role ensures the proper classification, storage, security, retrieval and disposal of records and works closely with multiple departments to implement and maintain effective records management practices.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the Records & Information Manager for the Corporate Office, which includes leading, implementing, and managing the Records & Information Management program for the Corporate Office
- Maintain the Global Retention Schedule
- Create and maintain Corporate Office Records & Information Management procedures, instructions, forms and other pertinent documents
- Supervise the retention and disposition/destruction of Records within the Corporate Office (including at offsite storage). This includes Records in any form, whether hardcopy (paper), digital (electronic) or any other media
- Support the Corporate Office's usage of digital systems, repositories and/or applications that contain Records, in coordination with Digital Technology organizations
- Serve on the RTX Records & Information Management Committee, which Committee will meet periodically to:
- Set and maintain measures, controls and processes for the Records & Information Management program, including oversight of the implementation of this policy
- Create guidance documents to define requirements for the Global Retention Policy
- Consult on changes to the Global Retention Policy and Global Retention Schedule
- Communicate and make Records & Information Management training available, as needed, to Corporate Office employees.
- Serve as a Records & Information Management resource for the Records & Information Managers of each Business Unit.
- Work with leadership and finance to identify and manage the annual operating budget for all Corporate Records & Information Management activities.
- Provide overall Records & Information Management support, guidance and direction for the Corporate Office.
- Review CLARAs for the Corporate Office.
- Help establish the digital requirements necessary for adequate electronic storage repositories of RTX records and information, and review such tools and systems to determine whether they meet the digital requirements.
- Assist in identifying owners for repositories of records and information.
- Assist in identifying the appropriate retention location for Information.
- Collaborate across functions to create inventory of systems used across organization for storage of records and information.
- Minimal travel as required
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of 10 years combined professional experience in core area(s) essential to performing this role, including but not limited to information security, legal (privacy or security compliance), records and information managements, business operations, digital technology, and Information Governance
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Experience demonstrating knowledge of records retention laws and regulations
- Familiarity with electronic repositories for management and long-term storage of information.
- Experience with records management software and document management systems.

This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance to Charlotte, NC, Farmington, CT, Richardson, TX, Tucson, AZ, Cedar Rapids, IA, or Arlington, VA.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
