What YOU Will Do:
- Serves as the Mission Systems contracts point of contact for inter-entity transactions (e.g. Inter-Entity Work Authorizations [IWAs] and Inter-Organizational Transfers [IOTs]).
- Coordinates setup, monitors expenditures, and executes closeouts for inter-entity transactions.
- Collaborates with functions such as Finance, Value Stream Leaders, Supply Chain, Tax and Legal to ensure compliant and timely completion of inter-entity activities.
- Works alongside other contracts professionals in the development of current contract tools, suggesting improvements as necessary, and implementation of new tools and DT automation activities.
- Contributes to the development of training plans, guidance, and reference documents for contracts professionals.
- Assists in drafting and developing procedures and engaging in process improvements specific to Mission Systems contracts.
- Provides support with preparing for and ensuring timely audit responses.
- Supports other special projects and compliance related activities.
What YOU Will Learn:
- Gain in-depth expertise in managing inter-entity transactions, mastering the complexities of Inter-Entity Work Authorizations (IWAs) and Inter-Organizational Transfers (IOTs), and how these processes drive global compliance in defense contracts
- Learn to navigate the full lifecycle of US Government contract management, from setting up transactions to executing closeouts, and build key skills in managing compliance with FAR, DFARS, and ITAR regulations
- Develop advanced knowledge in working with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Tax, and Supply Chain, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how these teams collaborate to ensure compliant, on-time inter-entity transactions
- Strengthen your leadership and influence by working alongside with senior management and contributing to the development of new tools, processes, and training that enhance efficiency across contracts operations
- Sharpen your skills in process improvement and DT automation activities, gaining experience in the latest technology and software tools (like SAP) to streamline contract management workflows and create lasting efficiencies
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Understands the intricacies and unique processes associated with Inter-Organizational Transfers (IOTs) and Inter-entity Work Authorizations (IWAs).
- Prior experience with USG contract management
- Experience in compliance with FAR and DFARS, TINA and Global Trade requirements, including ITAR
- Prior experience with US Government direct contracts; prime contract subcontracts
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and develop effective relationships based on respect and trust
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence leadership
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience in SAP, DT automation and implementing software tools
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is preferred

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
