Raytheon has an opening for a Production Control, Sr. Analyst Scheduling at our Portsmouth, RI facility. The successful candidate has experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment and utilizes data-driven decision making to enable effective material and workforce forecasting. This role requires daily interaction with cross functional teams, programs, and business units to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include planning, production control, operations, quality, and manufacturing/test/design engineering.

What You Will Do
- Evaluate and coordinate training needs to better utilize metrics and system accuracy. Improve process flows regarding the assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential production problems. Solves any potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
- Support analysis of multiple and moderate complexity, Bills of Material in an MRP system; releasing work orders and tracking material though the assembly process
- Provides support to material supply demand and prepares necessary work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements.
- Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering. Propose solutions to mitigate any work stoppage the factory teams may experience due to any slips in material orders.
- Leads projects and or teams to accomplish continuous improvement.
- Controls on hand material through its life cycle; issue to work orders or projects, returns to suppliers, ships to customers, etc.
- This will be an onsite role.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's and 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with MRP, SAP PRISM
- Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Teams)

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
