The Engineered Items Commodity Sourcing and Execution Team has a great opportunity for an experienced Procurement Professional/Subcontract Manager in a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team.

What You Will Do:
- Preparation and issuance of RFP's
- Place purchase orders of medium to high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontracts (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.).
- Supplier Proposal adequacy reviews.
- Develop and lead negotiation strategies and execution (Price, Delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions).
- Perform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals.
- Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors.
- Ability to prepare, attend and present status at Customer meetings and reviews on such topics as open requisitions, PO placement, and delivery updates, etc.
- Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, etc.) to achieve objectives.
- Post Award Purchase order maintenance to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.
- Occasional travel may be required - less than 50%
Qualifications You Must Have:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience , or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 year's experience
- Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- SAP/PRISM based environment experience
- Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and service - including Statement of Work (SOW) review
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)
- Supply Chain certification (CPM, CPSM, CPIM, APICS, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
