Collins Aerospace is seeking a Principal Specialist FP&A who will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis for their Advanced Structures - Propeller Systems business (US Site) based in Windsor Locks, CT. The FP&A Specialist will be primarily responsible to support a cross functional team including Engineering, Program Management, and Finance. This role will gain exposure to both OEM and Aftermarket business segments as well as Commercial and Military markets. This is a hybrid role located in Windsor Locks, CT. Candidate must be a commutable distance to our Windsor Locks office. Ratio of time spent at the office will be discussed with your manager

What You Will Do:
- Collecting, analyzing, and consolidating engineering and program management spend from various sources
- Collaborating with the business unit's Engineering and Program Management leads as well as finance peers to accurately forecast future spend and identify risk and opportunities
- Creating and maintain engineering WBS structures
- Compiling monthly intercompany invoicing for engineering support activities
- Performing monthly financial closing and forecast activities including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and loading of supplemental and forecast date into OneStream
- Assisting in cash collections assurance by providing timely and accurate accounts receivable reporting and analysis
- Supporting the Long-Range Plan and AOP process as needed
- Identifying and driving continuous improvements of key processes
- Supporting a compliant controls environment, participating in SOX and ACA audit as required
- Provide ad-hoc assistance, analysis, and reporting as requested by management and team
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- "U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial
management system due to government contractual requirements."
- Experience in using SAP and HFM / OneStream experience or similar systems.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc. is required
- Experience performing Financial Planning, Analysis concepts and processes including revenue, earnings, and cash flow forecasting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop reports to drive solutions and process improvements
- Creative problem-solving skills: individual will need to be comfortable working through complex process and systems changes
- Experience with other Business Objects / BI tools would be an asset.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
