Job Summary
The Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) Associate Director (AD) is accountable for direct and indirect functional strategy and execution impacting program Profit & Loss (P&L). The scope of this position includes OSC labor, factory, material strategy, and functional performance for contracts in and products in various phases of production and types including domestic, foreign military, and direct commercial sale. They report to the Sub-Strategic Business Unit OSC Director for Precision Fires and Maneuver and have dotted line responsibility to the Program Director.

The OSC AD is the program's delegated functional budgetary authority and an influential member of the leadership team. They must have strategic forethought and a strong executive presence. An effective OSC AD is a hands-on and approachable leader, coach, and mentor. They interface directly with internal and external program customers, strategic and sub-strategic business unit executives, program leaders, operations and supply chain functional directors, factory operators and leaders, and supplier teams.
The program OSC AD sets the tone of success for their team of direct and indirect Operations, Supply Chain, and Subcontracts managers. The successful OSC AD provides clarity in a dynamic and matrixed environment which also includes an added complexity of a Joint Venture relationship with Lockheed. Their behaviors foster a psychologically safe and collaborative teaming environment that draws and retains top talent.
What You Will Do:
- Proposal strategy, execution, and strategy reviews
- Prime negotiation support
- Contract baseline setup
- Operations and Material Program Plan development and maintenance
- Quarterly Estimate at Complete (EAC) productivity updates
- Long and short-range forecasting sales/earnings updates and execution reviews
- Contract execution and performance oversight/sustainment/closeout
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
- Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools (SAP and/or PRISM)
- Prior work experience with budgeting and forecasting process and/or expectations
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
