Within the Naval Power (NP) Strategic Business Unit, we are looking for a Section Leader for our Modeling Simulation and Analysis Department. Our objective is to design, develop, evaluate, and maintain simulations and models supporting and enabling key business captures, current programs, special projects, and wide-ranging business opportunities.

This position is in Tucson, Arizona.
This is an On-Site Role.
What You Will Do:
- You will provide guidance, direction, mentoring and influencing skills, and foster teamwork and interdependent execution for approximately 10 - 20 Engineers
- You will participate in talent acquisition, goal setting, performance development, and merit appraisal for your team
- You will ensure each direct report has suitable work assignments and opportunities for growth and career advancement
- You will aid other organizational managers in their role to develop employees and support project or strategic activities
- You will support estimating and development of new project plans and strategic efforts
- You will resolve complex problems that require evaluation and make moderate contributions to improvement of discipline processes
Qualification You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and eight (8) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:
- Experience developing or simulating physical systems within the Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Department at Raytheon
- Experience in Systems and Modeling Architecture
- Experience applying Raytheon Business Policies
- Experience using Common Digital Products
- Experience programming in C or C++
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related discipline
- Experience managing employees and helping them grow professionally
- Experience participating in Non-Advocate Reviews
- Experience working with a functional budget for overhead taskings

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
