As a Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection of products in both standard and non-standard environments. Your role is crucial in maintaining the flow of work and ensuring high-quality output.

Blueprint Reading and Interpretation:

  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
  • Utilize written instructions to accurately complete assembly tasks.

Tool Operation:

  • Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment efficiently and safely.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain an organized inventory of products in work stations, ensuring all necessary materials are available and accounted for.

Quality Control:

  • Perform quality checks on work, identifying and recording any product defects.
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.

Safety and Cleanliness:

  • Adhere to quality standards and established safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area to ensure a productive work environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Capable of working in a standing position for up to 8 hours per day.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Proficient in the use of various hand and power tools.

Attention to Detail:

  • Keen eye for detail to identify defects and ensure high-quality assembly.
  • Precision in following engineering specifications and instructions.

Problem-Solving:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and rework products as needed to meet quality standards.

Physical Stamina:

  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting and standing for extended periods.

Safety Awareness:

  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols.

Work Environment:

  • This role involves working in environments that may vary from standard to non-standard conditions. It requires adherence to safety procedures and the ability to adapt to different working conditions.

Qualifications your must have:

  • Typically requires a HS diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

The salary range for this role is $21.78 to $29.47; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
