The Raytheon Estimating and Pricing (E&P) organization has an exciting opportunity to join a talented team supporting proposal and capture efforts for the Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) business unit. This position will be for a direct charging employee supporting programs located onsite in Tucson, AZ.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the preparation of various types of proposals for development, production and competitive contracts including modifications to existing contracts. In addition, the Estimating organization supports gate reviews, government audits and negotiations with the customer. The chosen candidate will be expected to support programs onsite, with opportunities to work remotely as appropriate.
What You Will Do
- Provide support for the development of Basis of Estimates to include validating and examining actuals, ensuring consistency within task descriptions, and confirming estimating approach is sound
- Utilize company programs and tools for estimating and pricing activities.
- Develop Request for Estimates which are used to kick off proposals
- Prepare non-complex Gate 4 charts for program/company leadership review of proposal information
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
- Experience with MS Office
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- 1 to 2 years financial analysis and/or project management experience
- Experience with Excel (i.e., basic formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, etc.)
- Experience with multiple Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint)
- Good investigative abilities
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines in a schedule-driven environment
- Effective planning and scheduling skills that lead to the completion of proposal efforts in accordance to customer and company requirements
- The ability to work well in teams, with peers and management
- The ability to follow and apply internal and external regulations to the development of company proposals
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to gain security and special access clearance to work activities as appropriate.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
