This position is responsible for coordinating and supporting the property audits for the Eastern Property Region. The audits include, internal self-assessments, corporate audits, quality audits, AS9100 audits and external customer audits. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring our system and records are compliant with company policy and procedures, contractual terms, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Property regulatory requirements. The candidate will identify areas for improvement based on audit outcomes and work with local regional team members to ensure enhancements have been implemented.

What You Will Do

  • Ability to effectively communicate with program managers, directors, functional leadership, customer representatives and government agencies related to company and customer property requirements
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and manage your time to meet deadlines with minimal managerial oversight.
  • Ability to comprehend and understand how to apply the established procedures, as well as FAR and DFARS regulations.
  • This role involves audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting, as well as identifying audit obstacles and initiating appropriate solutions
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances, and quickly adjust your approach when necessary
  • Incorporate data analytics to identify patterns and trends that can provide insights into areas that need improvement
  • Plan, execute, and monitor special projects from start to finish that are assigned by your manager
  • Must be able to lift (Knees to shoulders), 28 pounds (2 handed), 12 pounds (1-handed) or 2-handed lifting below knee or above shoulder, 18 pounds.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years' experience.
  • Experience with Auditing, Supply Chain, Government Contracting, Logistics, or Property.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • National Property Management Association, CPPS certification or able to obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM), cPDM, and asset tracking systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-Starter who requires minimal supervision, as well as the ability to manage priorities.
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers, customers, and team members.
  • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), disclosure statements and Sarbanes Oxley.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
