- Responsible for developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts through business-to-business sales of Forcepoint software licensing, appliances, and services, specifically targeted at government entities in Mexico.
- Collaborate with the Regional Director to develop and implement specific customer account and opportunity plans in alignment with company goals and assigned quotas.
- Coordinate sales resources, including Solution Engineers, Channel Teams, Specialized Sales Teams, and Executives, to ensure the successful execution of government account plans.
- Effectively utilize the CRM system, taking responsibility for the development, management, and closure of forecasted opportunities.
- Manage complex go-to-market strategies tailored to government procurement processes and frameworks.
- Execute complex sales and effectively manage the sales process and associated activities while complying with government regulations and requirements.
- Strategically manage 15-25 named accounts, focusing on key government entities across Mexico.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas.
- Negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management within government institutions.
Required Experience, Knowledge, and Education
- University degree and 8+ years of sales experience, or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive and proven experience in Cybersecurity solutions sales within the public sector, including Cloud Security, Network Security, and Data & Insider Threat solutions.
- Proven experience in relationship management and sales within government accounts, preferably with large institutions (5,000+ employees or users).
- Demonstrated success in managing, growing, and taking ownership of government accounts, including working with public tenders and procurement frameworks.
- Consistent achievement of sales quotas and targets within the public sector.
- Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives within government institutions, including Directors, General Secretariats, and decision-making departments.
- Familiarity with working alongside specialized government-focused distribution channels, as well as direct business development with end clients.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies such as TAS and SPIN, and a strong understanding of government procurement processes.
- Structured and process-oriented working style with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in highly complex environments.
- Experience working across public sector verticals, such as Security, Public Finance, Education, and Defense.
- Advanced analytical and forecasting skills, with a strategic approach to account management.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to the government context.
