The GhostEye Platform, COTS and Infrastructure sub-Integrated Product Team (subIPT) Lead is responsible for managing the strategy and execution of the development and deployment of the operating systems, software Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS), and firmware configurations across the GhostEye family of products. This role will create, implement, and maintain a configuration roadmap across a fleet of tactical radar systems, Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) and software test environments. To do so, this role will require regular collaboration with key stakeholders, including program management, the office of the chief engineer, Integrated Product Team (IPT)/Cross Product team (CPT), LTAMDS Test Environments Lead, Global Supply Chain, Cyber experts, multiple internal functions and the customer community. This position also includes the management of cost, schedule, and execution activities including, but are not limited to, Estimate at Completion Reviews (EACs), proposal costing and leadership review, staffing projections, and monthly metrics tracking.

What You Will Do

  • Own the operating system, software COTS and firmware configuration strategy and execution - from development of requirements through deployment
  • Administrative fluency with Red Hat Linux (or vendor equivalent)
  • Experience troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based OS.
  • Coordinate with the team to incorporate cyber based solutions to the product
  • Collaborate across teams to define requirements and dependencies
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Test Architect, and multiple functions to support the development, implementation and deployment to support GhostEye family of products
  • Responsible for developing a team capable of delivering products
  • Support program growth through proposal development and the deployment and continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools
  • Manage cost and schedule for team - including managing EVMS for scope on government contracts
  • Leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management
  • Travel as required to meet programmatic objectives. Regular travel between Raytheon locations in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire is required. With potential international travel.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience.
  • Experience with managing cost, schedule and/or quality for technical projects.
  • Experience with architecture development, integration and/or deployment.
  • Experience working with COTS vendors (i.e. Red Hat, Windows, etc).
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (E.g. Python, Java, Bash, Perl, C++).
  • Experience with IT and/or network and system security administration, including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for UNIX, MS Windows, Red Hat Linux, and CISCO systems.
  • Experience with SAFe Agile methodologies and DevSecOps.
  • Experience with DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Earned Value Management System Certified

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
