The Resilient Navigation Solutions (RNS) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) is a recently established reporting entity within the Mission Systems Strategic Business Unit (SBU) of Collins Aerospace. RNS includes both heritage Raytheon and heritage Collins portfolios and spans locations ranging from California to Germany. This position can be worked from multiple locations or remotely.

This FP&A Analyst role will have responsibility for coordinating all aspects of financial planning for RNS's heritage Raytheon Avionics, Increment I, and Maritime Systems (AIMS) portfolio. They will coordinate deliverables from each of the product lines through various weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual processes including, but not limited to, the following: short range outlook (SRO), monthly forecast reviews, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), investment planning, operating reviews, balance sheet, overhead analysis, and communication alignment across the portfolio to drive business cadence. The FP&A analyst provides coaching, training and development to program control analysts that support the program teams.
This position requires a self-starter with demonstrated leadership and analytical skills with an eye for process improvement and the ability to drive accuracy and efficiency into all FP&A activities and deliverables. Key characteristics include: proactive leadership, sense of urgency, ability to drive actions to completion, creative problem solving, and strong team collaboration.
What You Will Do:
- Execute a monthly and weekly cadence across the business programs for inputs, reviews and on-time delivery
- Accurate and timely analysis of financial performance (bookings, sales, profit, and cash) and early identification and communication of issues impacting financial performance
- Own all financial reports, presentations and FP&A deliverables with a focus on data integrity, completeness, analysis and timeliness
- Element of Cost analysis for all programs
- Lead the SRO process with a drive towards consistency, timeliness and accuracy
- Actively participate in weekly/monthly forecast
- Understand all elements of the balance sheet; Identify issues and drive resolution
- Monitor, analyze, and forecast Investments: Capital projects, IRAD projects and New Business Investment (NBI) spending
- Drive the schedule for long range planning (LRP) activities to meet the FP&A deadlines
- Provide variance analysis and month/year-end close reporting and monitoring, working capital monitoring and analysis, and program financial forecasting
- Drive efficiencies through process improvement and establish FP&A best practices across RNS
- Assist with special projects as heritage Raytheon and heritage Collins continue integration activities
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must have a minimum of 8+years of professional FP&A experience or other related financial experience.
- Experience with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Development)
- Typically requires 8 years' experience in finance or related business role; OR an advanced degree and 5 years' experience in finance or related business role
- Understanding of AOP and Long Range Planning, program forecasting and metrics
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

- Experience with APEX, PRISM, EIOTs, Rplan and EDIT+ highly desired

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
