Production/Quality/Facilities team leaders engaged in layout and machine operating, powder production, powder sizing, inspection, and material preparation. The Team Lead serves as the subject matter expert and focal point for shift activities, questions, concerns and/or issues, and forwards or escalates issues and concerns to supervisors. The Team Lead is committed to all areas of quality/productivity and understands the link with these items with company profitability.
This position is for 6th shift 4x10 schedule.
What You Will Do:
- Perform Sonic Inspection equipment set up and sample preparation with minor oversight
- Perform analysis on a wide variety of materials where methods and techniques have been established with minor oversight
- Perform ultrasonic analysis using handheld systems
- Perform serial sectioning, etching, optical imaging and electron microscopy
- Perform root cause analysis on material nonconformances
- Maintain equipment per TPM requirements
- Organize, report, and maintain records of analysis
- Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.
- Adhere to all EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment.
- Support quality management in other areas including quality data entry, report generation, quality investigations, metrics generation, etc.
- Meet or exceed established performance metrics.
- Support continuous improvement through collection of data and performing statistical analysis.
- Promptly respond to production floor quality issues and taking appropriate actions, where applicable.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High School degree or GED equivalent.
- Two (4) years of experience in manufacturing.
- Six (6) months leading, training, or team building experience.
- U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Associate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or other related field
- Must have optical and/or electron microscopy experience.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is $25.00 - $32.00 per hour; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
